Jesus Can Change Your Panic to Praise

Matthew 28:1-10

Introduction – He is Risen!

• The risen Jesus calls us to respond to his resurrection by laying down fear, drawing near to him, sharing his good news with others, and living in the deep joy his victory over sin and death makes possible.

1. Fear Not (vs. 5, 10)

• Because Jesus lives, fear, guilt, shame, and death do not have the final word.

1. Come and See (v. 6)

• The risen Christ still invites you to draw near and see what God can do with a surrendered life.

III. Go Quickly and Tell (v. 7)

• Identify people in your life who need to hear your story of Christ’s work.  Go tell them!

1. Rejoice (v. 8)

• Live and worship from resurrection joy, not mere habit.

Conclusion - Let Jesus turn your panic to praise

• • Fear not – He is risen!
  • Come and see – He is risen!
  • Go quickly – tell the good news for He is risen!
  • Rejoice – He is risen!
